    Gujarat: Liquor permits finally renewed, but quotas cut

    Arvind Patel (name changed) received his renewed liquor health permit on April 27, nine months after it had expired. To his shock, the number of permitted liquor units per month were slashed to just one, against three units permitted earlier.
