    CBI to probe into alleged irregularities in NEET-UG exam

    The central government handed over the investigation of alleged irregularities in the 2024 NEET-UG exam to the CBI. NTA director general Subodh Kumar Singh was removed from his post. This came after removed NTA director general Subodh Kumar Singh from his post and put him on "compulsory wait" in DoPT. Pradeep Singh Kharola has been given additional charge of the post of Director General, National Testing Agency (NTA).
